I came to Auburn in the fall of 1996 as a kid from Chicago who knew no one. In God's sovereignty, I ended up living with three older guys who were active at ACF and introduced me to this community. At ACF, I was welcomed when I showed up and missed when I did not. Perry's gift for showing college students the love of Jesus drew me to him, and over my six years (yes, that was for one degree), Perry and ACF were crucial in how my walk with Jesus developed. I attended mission trips, ate lots of free dinners, and participated in large and small group Bible studies. Perry started a weekly Bible study in the library of my fraternity house that continued after I graduated and connected many of my fraternity brothers to ACF. ACF taught me the importance of of doing life with a Biblical community.

ACF taught me how to love people well, and I have carried that with me into my current roles as a husband, father, teacher, coach, and school administrator. I am forever indebted to Perry and ACF for poruing into me when I was learning how to live out my faith. I do hope my children find thier way to Auburn when the leave home, but I pray they find a BIblical community like I found at ACF. My wife and I partner with ACF financially and pray for this ministry regulary. ACF was a blessing to me as a student almost 30 years ago and has continued to be a blessing since I left.

Hello! It’s me, Alli Green!! I’ve been an ACF hasbeen since 2020 and I am reminded every single day of the ways that ACF has changed my life. I found ACF on “accident” when some friends and I showed up after free dinner ready for a Bible Study thinking we were at a different campus ministry. I immediately knew that God had led us to the right place and that I had found my people. ACF is the place where I found out who Christ was to me and the different ways that He will meet me where I am and walk with me through all stages of life.

I have always had a love for music, but leading worship at ACF taught me how to be a leader with in my faith and ultimately inspired me to get my masters in worship studies and pursue worship leading full-time. I am now leading worship at my home church in Huntersville, NC. I am forever thankful for the friends I made at ACF who became family!!

Hey there! My name is Avery Greer. I was a student at Auburn from 2015 to 2018 and called ACF my community during my entire time as a student. I experienced just about everything ACF had to offer, from freshman throwdown and accountability groups, to being a freshman big dog, leading small groups, and planning events. ACF allowed me to grow closer to Jesus while providing me with a loving and accepting community. Today, I am an elementary school teacher in Birmingham, AL, and so much of what I learned and experienced at ACF shapes the way I live my life today. I also am very involved with my home church here in Birmingham, because ACF taught me how imperative Christian community is to my personal faith journey.

I fell in love with ACF because everyone always had wide open arms and hearts. No matter what baggage or anxieties I entered with, there were always people there ready to give hugs, laughter, and support. During my time at Auburn, I went through some formative life situations and the leadership and my friends helped me through these times with advice and encouragement that helped me immensely. There are so many relationships that began at ACF that I still hold dear to this day, and that I know will stay strong throughout the rest of my adult life! I firmly believe that the love students experience at ACF is a direct reflection of the love that we all receive freely from Jesus. And as a result of this love and community, so many people are able to come in contact with God’s love through community events, mission opportunities, and even simple, reliable fellowship. I am forever grateful for my time at ACF & still give my prayer and support today so that the community can continue being impacted today and for years to come.

You are SO loved!
